Note: The official stance of the United States Track and Field Association, the official governing body for distance running, is that all winners should be determined by gun time, not net time. That is how the results were first published. However, after consulting with local and regional officials, it was determined that the norm is that gun time is used to determine the overall winners but net time is used to determine age division results.
